I did this two weeks ago, but I went with the TacoVinyl grille/garnish/camera bracket option ($270). After I installed it, I changed my mind and decided I wanted the OEM grille. I change my mind a lot, unfortunately, lol. So I got the same OEM grille and OEM bracket you listed, but I was able to get them cheaper ($185.27 & $2.44) from a somewhat local dealer's site. I even got free shipping with a code on their site. Now I'm deciding if I should go with a used OEM garnish or the Taco Garage one. My TacoVinyl garnish has really shiny silver paint on it...do you find that to be true with the Taco Garage garnish too? I want it to be subdued like the OEM garnish, but I guess I could always have it tinted? Now I'll need to sell my TacoVinyl grille...

I am in no way, shape, or form a great fab guy or welder.. but I built my own swing out today.. the 4xInnovations hinge is an absolute unit. I’m not done with it but I am done for today. This is it so far. Drivable and functional for now, hopefully finish tomorrow or so.

I only did the passenger side one; not sure if it's my truck or my driveway, (or a bit of both) but that's the low point when I back in to park.

In answer to the "why?" query: if you don't have a tonneau cover or cap, and live in an area with lots of vegetation, those small drain holes block very quickly. The larger holes let more debris come out, and 12 mm (1/2") diameter seems to work about right.

Got my first bit of trail damage today. Probably should have left the branch in the sliders. Big 'ol dent in the R/R door. Oops...

It’s unfortunate when it happens but also a badge of honor I guess! It’s always rough putting that first mark on a truck.

Home Depot has the exact item also. I've got about 10 pieces of this material in my garage now it's great for projects everything this guy said about a good cut covered sharp edges ease of cutting it with tin snips he's right on.

Not worried. Pretty sure I can remove the interior panel and pop it out. It's not creased. Serves me right for charging into a mud track. I should have left the branch in it for the picture. Lol

Installed a dash mounted cell phone holder today. Wasn't quite sure whether I'd like it or not but so far, I do like where it is and how easy it is to get to the phone. :)

Ya my passenger outer, I have some small cracking on my inner on my driver side. Probably will do that next, the job isn't as difficult as many people make it out to be. Def not worth the $490 labor charge the dealer wanted.

Finished my RCI slider install, and washed it.

And finally relocated brake cable on the side which needed a drill and tap for the guide bolt. Luckily my tap and die set had the exact tap for the existing bolt. Haha a buddy of mine gave me this set years ago and it's not used much as you can imagine.

Excellent, sounds like you caught it before an explosion of grease was everywhere. EF yeah not worth 490. I'll be doing mine too when the day comes, so far my boots look really good, 3 years on this truck...

Yeah mine was from a branch I didn’t see and it broke and slammed into my passenger door. Like yours I can probably push it out from the inside.
