Picked up a 2013 TRD Sport and been doing some work on it here and there to make it feel less like an appliance.

Basically a totally stock rig minus the wheels and the Snugtop canopy on it

The lower headlamp trim was missing when I bought the vehicle so I installed one after I painted it and hit it with clear. The color looks off due to the vehicle being dirty.

Took it up to the mountains to use as a ski rig and it performed very well. I did have to drive through a bunch of fog and using the stock fog lights seemed to be completely pointless so I will have to do something about that

Threw in some EBAY level LED lights that are way better than stock, Was not going to spend 400$ for the baja design yellow led fogs so i got these for 100$ on ebay and they look rad and also perform way better than stock

Also I have a TRD pro grill to install but I also ordered a new grill trim surround in Super White II so I can delete the chrome. I have done some more basic stuff to the truck to make it more functional and will post those soon

Does it have a rear factory elocker?

(Color matched mirrors and door handles + hood skewp.... but chrome grill.... but color matched rear bumper.... needless to say I am confused on what it actually is as far as TRD as that combination was never a thing from the factory)

If it was an SR5, the previous owner went through LOTS of work to get color matched goodies, and a skewped hood. Me thinks maybe its a TRD sport that had something mess up the grill at some point that the previous owner replaced with a chrome grill surround.

    Either way. Good lookin truck!

Yeah that’s so true. Probably found the chrome grill replacement for a ton cheaper and went that route

youre correct, the truck was in a front end collision and had that grill replaced.

I'm excited to see how this turns out. I am about to do the same chrome deleted on the grill on my 2013. Where did you get the pro grill from? I see them on eBay, but not sure what kind of quality they are. I love the Empyre offroad grill I have on my truck now, but it's starting to rust and I don't want to deal with removing it to clean up and installing it again on a different grill surround.
