    Google wasn't any help.

It's what my dad always referred to I95 as.

That might be the most dangerous trail on the east coast

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Is the PA turnpike considered a trail? I could have aired down a few places.

I've had the displeasure of becoming very familiar with it over the last six years. They've repaved the worst of it. I was very surprised to see they are working to widen it to three lanes where they can. I still don't care for it.

So, we found out today that information we had about mom was almost 4 months old. She's been in and out of the hospital so much since then that her follow up appts with docs were missed. That report said there were three spots on the lung and one in her left Tibia.

It looks like she has stage 4 melanoma that may be spreading. The sample is out for testing which will take 2-3 weeks to get back before a treatment plan can be discussed. I'm honestly not sure that a treatment plan will matter by then. We asked for a palliative care consult today. She had her dialysis treatment today which is taxing on her and she hasn't been as sharp as she usually is.

Kinda sucky day today. I will be headed back tomorrow and then back here again on Wed or Thurs is the tentative plan with Gwen's work schedule. First road trip with Tessa may be happening as well.

Re: "My ambition often outweighs my talent...." Balderdash! Your ambition will bring your talents up to speed, and charge each other to take on bigger and better challenges. Critical mass is eventually achieved, and then both feed upon one another to bring each to new heights. Trust me.

People told me I would never be able to fly a plane on my own all alone, over mountain terrain and come back and land my butt on the runway in one piece. They were wrong. I got my ticket and the examiner on my check-ride told me he would be perfectly fine with letting his daughter (herself a pilot) go up with me as PIC on a three-hop cross country flight. I never took him up on it. (why push your luck?) ha

If you believe you can do it: you can. Your talent will buckle up and work with your ambition rise to the occasion and succeed.

“Do or do not. There is no try.” – Yoda

My pleasure. It looks like you're having a lot of fun! Love that full skid-plate a few pictures down.

Made it back in open piece about 1530 today. Talked to my sister just after getting back and the meeting we were supposed to get Wednesday with doctors and such is now Monday after 1500. Turn and burn for Detroit at zero dark thirty.

Took the jeep out for the first time. Took it up Switzer lake for a little bit then turned around. Fiancé wasn't happy. We still got the temp tags on it.
Review of the Jeep. Doesn't ride like the Tacoma. I felt more comfortable in the Tacoma. Maybe its me but the jeep felt more tippy. It was still a fun little ride while it lasted. 20230128_144038.jpg

In about five seconds, Chris will post a gif that demonstrates the Jeep is not tippy at all.
