Well, my first issue with my 21 Tacoma Offroad, manual,

When on a road trip all these lights came on after having to brake, which I thought I also heard a "crunch" sound: ABS, Traction Control, Smart Collision system - truck has 27K miles on it - I know its under warranty

Anyone have a similar issue at this mileage? I didn't see anything when I did a search.

Have you checked your ABS sensors/harnesses for damage?

I had same messages when I ripped my rear ABS harness.

Sounds like having to brake is an odd occurrence for you? Check ABS sensor wires at all the wheels. Then, as always, pull all the DTC's to troubleshoot.

the TRD Lift from Toyota installed by the dealer when nearly new. Also no damage that is visible.

That’s the abs kicking in. Hard braking? Braking around a corner?

and like said already, you have a lift kit?

It wasn't a hard brake, just braking to a stop light.

Definitely was not the ABS kicking in.

Update: Smart Toyota says its a brake switch under the brake pedal. And due to me having a peddle commander they will charge me, $320.

Yes I realize I should have removed it before hand but I figured that it wouldn't be an issue./

I have the same issue and just had the brake actuator replaced for $2200 and the lights are still on! Taking it back tomorrow for them to diagnose, any more info would be great.
