It’s about time looks like gear lock may be an add on later. I don’t know if vf needs to add something or if a tune like OTT will be able to have that feature

Can someone clarify “gearlock” ? Is this to prevent downshifting? If so, is it truly locked or just parameter tolerances before a shift occurs that make it resist ?

GL is like manual mode / sport mode on other ATs.

vF Tuner said that original implementation on the 1.05b Tunes was only a downshift near stall and no upshift even a the limiter.

No one knows what the new implementation will be, but the AT torque maps will be able to be adjusted, just like they are now.

He made a vid to demonstrate it back in the day.

Updated overnight. It looks like 2021 - 2022 2.7l support was added (04C10). I don't see 04B60 in there for the 2019s, and we still don't know what the 2016 - 2017 5MT is. The rest of those are the 2nd Gen 2.7l ECU IDs.

Just wanted to update people in this thread. Got my 21 2.7 OTT tuned over the weekend.JustDSM from OTT has been awesome working with me answering a million questions. They are still working to get a 2.7 to get on the dyno to make some small tweaks and changes but even the base tune is a night and day difference over stock. I had a throttle controller before a cheapo 9 drive which certainly helped the dead throttle but if you have these trucks you know that’s only half the problem. Throttle is improved so the 9 drive or your pedal commander is no longer needed. Shifting is greatly improved I can actually give it more than 1/4 throttle without it kicking down a gear. It’s a huge improvement the way it holds the gear with throttle input. OTT is the way to go extremely good product/even better customer service. Some guys may want to wait until they update the tune with minor tweaks after they get one on the rollers or just tune it now and wait until future releases. Either way highly recommend it’s a 100% no question must have mod for me. The 2.7 doesn’t get much love it’s nice to see OTT putting in the time and effort
