2002 auto V6 double cab 104,000 miles. All stock suspension.

Just started feeling this tonight. Not sure if it’s normal and my brain is just messing with me, but I think I would have noticed it before.

LBJ’s are original. I don’t think this is a symptom of them going bad, but would hate to be wrong and have them fail on me.

Sometimes depending on the shoes I have on, I’ll notice vibrations more or less. Also could be your cab mounts getting old.

Not the shoes, I confirmed with another pair of shoes driving today... vibrations still there lol.

It's like I can feel the road in just one spot in front of foot rest regardless of speed. I recently got new Wildpeaks, could the tires being out of balance be the cause?

God... don't scare me like that. It's pretty rust free overall, the rust would have to be pretty concentrated in that area if so.

I would check under the carpet and under the body in that area regardless. Rust or not, seems to be centralized in that area anyways

I have an 02 double cab as well and also feel a rattle/bumps in my drivers floor. Typically left foot. I brought the truck to a suspension shop to check it out and they said that they couldn't find anything. That said, they drove the truck and could also "feel it". I feel it even more at low speeds..I can feel the smallest of bumps. I am thinking about having another shop take a look. In the past year it has had new LBJ, and outer tie rods, king 2.5 coilers, Ridge grapplers etc. the rattle did not coincide with ANY of these additions but has slowly gotten worse and worse. It drives me absolutely nuts as I can feel it more than hearing it

Actually I literally just did that. No rust whatsoever... I do notice that the area where I feel the vibrations is “dimpled” compared the rest of the floor. Not sure if this is per design and is of any cause for the vibrations, but thought it was worth noting.

Sounds a lot like what I’m experiencing. Nice to know you did your LBJ’s recently and still experiencing it so I can at least rule that out.

Not sure on yours but mine feels like a bad bushing with some slop or maybe even loose cab mount, but cant find the culprit.

I don't feel much on that floorboard but man if I hit a puddle-shit! Yeah I feel that on my foot like the floorboard is made of cardboard.

Hi @taco_blanco2005 i know many years since you posted but I will like to know if you found the problem with this issue? I’m experiencing same issue, I replaced almost all front end parts but I don’t find it, I appreciate it your reply.
    Thank you
    Juan

    Bilstein 4600 shocks.
As would I. Early last year, I got Bilstein 4600s to replace my worn shocks, and the ride was improved. Then I discovered a squeak in my LCA bushings, so I replaced those with Whiteline bushings. While I had it all apart I did the lower ball joints, sway bar & steering rack bushings. After getting an alignment done, I started noticing a very harsh ride at low speeds over small imperfections in the street. I've been meaning to take mine back to the shop that did the alignment, to see if they could check things out and see if everything is torqued to spec, or if they see any other issue that might be causing such a jarring ride. The tires I have are about 6 years old, so they could use replacement, but I don't know if that is it, either. I run those, stock size, at about 28 psi. I'm tempted to try different shocks, though these rode fine prior to all the bushing and LBJ replacements.

So I'd be interested to hear if @taco_blanco2005 ever discovered the issue...

Still have the vibrations in the floor board. I’ve just learned to live with it, but also just keep my left foot away from the firewall foot rest (closer to the seat) as to not feel it. Haven’t really thought of this issue in awhile actually.

I’ve had alignments and changed out my LBJ’s since the original post, so those haven’t proven to be the issue.

At least of the original posts mentioned checking the body mounts, but it doesn't look like it was ever followed up on. I'd highly suggest taking a look at the body mounts. The rubber is those is the same age as the rest of the bushings that most people have already replaced.
