No negatives at all, only positive. I hit the gas pedal and it goes, unlike what it did before. And I am using the green-9 setting and not even going up to the "race or sport" mode! I tried that and I almost couldn't control how fast the truck acted! But it definitely does what it is supposed to do, or what it says it will do, and that is, it speeds up the response of the throttle. Totally recommend it!

A colleague had a sprint booster for his 2016, he loved it for the 2 or so years he had it. Ended up selling it when we got the KDMax tune.

Right now my local Toyota dealer is denying a warranty claim due to the Pedal Commander- my brake switch broke behind the brake pedle.

You might want to point out to them that the PC is attached to the gas pedal, not the brake pedal. Any excuse to get out of warranty work.

Yes... I am actually thinking do I: Pay for it, and then write a letter, discuss with service manager? OR Open a ticket with Toyota? Or be firm when getting the truck back? I am thinking waiting to make sure that my ABS/PreColl errors are fixed first before anything else? I also looked up Mag Moss Act, and this should be covered.

The Mag Moss Act looks great on paper but enforcing it is a long expensive road for you. I would go to the service manager and ask him to explain how the PC caused the brake switch failure when they are on two totally separate systems. Depending on the answer you get then you can mention that if they can't prove it they are obligated by federal law to cover the repair and see what he says. Hopefully that will be the end of it.

Good luck on that invoking mag moss act . Asking nicely goes a long way . Most often than not they will reconsider if you ask them nicely

I wasn't planning on being a jerk, just more , please explain to me how a broken brake switch would have been fixed under warranty if i didn't have the PC. And the answer is no, I did say to the service advisor, you know I could have removed it before coming in... and he said yep, but now our scan systems see it and Toyota won't honor the warranty... I guess we will see what happens today.

Yeah not really worth it for a 300 repair. BUT it is worth asking to have it covered and see what it wouldnt be.

So, the service advisor didn't know what the Mag Moss Act was, and brought it to his manager. Who said that they send the parts into Toyota and they will know... and I said its OK, I will create a ticket with Toyota.

I'm sure it has already been said, but just unplug the thing if you have to bring it in to avoid the entire dealer saying it caused "xyz" fiasco. It is not a tune though but will make the truck's throttle more sensitive...or give you more throttle with less input.

I bought a SB for my 2nd gen. Drove it for a year, then transferred to my 3rd gen in July.
I wouldn't think of driving with out it. Awesome throttle response.

    I rest my case.
