Two stalls in front of Holly Oaks park in MI as well. Zero lineup most of the time

^This is by choice (CostCo). Most street-corner gas stations don't have long lineups. That said, I haven't seen a Tesla charging site with lineups either.

Out of a 126 supercharger stops I've had to wait only a couple of times. The longest wait was maybe 5 minutes. Baring some major problem, like the fire that caused the lineup above, there is a pretty rapid turn over of stalls. The vast majority of the time there's alway a couple of open stalls.

Oh, and as far as Costco gas is concerned, they can get stuffed. I'll gladly pay a few pennies more and not wait in line.

Not so much wtf but a question along the lines of this topic: The gas station I like to use has a Tesla charging area in the corner. This is all located within a big grocery store's parking lot (it's their gas station). I always see the Tesla folks cleaning out their cars and using the trash cans at the ICE station. Sometimes walking the ten yards or so to come get the windshield squeegees to use while charging. Does Tesla have an arrangement with the gas station? Are those self righteous pricks in their Teslas (I'm kidding....) using the resources the ICE consumers pay for with their fuel purchases? Hmmmmmm.......

It depends on the business plan. How much does the “gas station” make off the gas vs. the fried chicken.

Hey man, some smaller rural gas stations around my state make pretty decent food. I don't eat fried chicken, but have had club sandwiches, fresh chef salads, and even good pulled pork sandwiches.

Will agree, though, that the holes in the wall with everything fried, including gizzards and livers, leave something to be desired.

I'll give you a hint: gas stations don't make any profit on fuel.

It's supposed to be good. I've never tried it. My Costco is old and doesn't have gas. I know Fred Meyer (Kroger) gas sucks, but it isn't rated top tier.

I'm the same. Save $0.30 on a tank of gas by sitting in a line for 15 minutes? No thanks. Anyway, our Costco gas isn't the cheapest around - Arco is the place. Never gad any issues with their gas. I use the premium in my Camaro and the lowest level for my truck.

I always went to the Arco on el Camino and Howe Ave… that place was sketchy at 5 am and worse as the day went on. I can only imagine how much worse it is now.

Still sketchy, but it is usually the cheapest around. The one where Alta Arden and Arden meet, in that weird little triangle, is close to the same price, but not as sketchy.

    "Gas station salad". Nope.

I'll stick to the chicken livers and tater logs, thanks.
