    north gate
Welded a swing true north swing tire carrier on a coastal off road bumper.
Had to custom fab a mount for the latch.

Honestly like this tube swing gate and prefer than the coastal swing gate.

definitely catches people's attention. i use it sparingly. last time, i had no stop sign entering a shopping center, the other 3 directions had a stop sign with a sign warning that oncoming traffic didn't stop. one guy ignored his stop sign. i tooted the horn, he stopped. 3 cars back, the guy starts roaring with laughter.

I hate that too, all they had to do was program it to let off the GAS. I'm sure the guys who drive behind me think I'm brake checking them.

I got to do this, watched your vid, good one! Tint-guy reassembled my doors, now they rattle, so I got to open them back up and insert some foam protections. Good motivation for me I've been putting this off.

Not "installed" yet, but wanted to post a shoutout to Spiker Engineering for phenomenal customer support. I contacted them because I lost the little clippy thing that holds the hood strut to its mounting bracket, installed in the engine bay fender. Leon at Spiker suggested that it would be easier to install the entire "knuckle" of the bracket, rather than just the clip. They are sending me one, just like that. Way to stand behind their product, even when the customer is not always right...completely my fault for losing the clip. Nice, refreshing response from a US company.

Nothing today, but figured id share some news since these folks are coming into the Toyota Market soon. When I owned my Jeep these guys were my goto for custom accessories. Veteran owned and offer Military, and Responder (Police, Fire and EMT) discounts. Check them out at @aaltoyota on Instagram.

Finished improving the beat up bed box I got.
Put some 1/4" HDPE on the bottom to keep it from soaking up water when in the bed.

How is everyone attaching the caulk bags? I see tons of people using them and like the idea, but haven't figured out how to attach it.

You can just run a long bolt or something between the two loops, then pop the console plastic up, insert the loops with the bolt and snap the console back in place. The bolt will keep the loops from pulling back out.

This is brilliant! Looks like a great solution for all of the wide bottles most of us use every day! Off to Amazon

My pouch had long straps. I rolled them up tight and wrapped them in electrical tape. Effectively did the same thing as placing the bolt.
