Two+ years later, has anyone noticed cracking around the side mounts?

At each of the holes on the "legs", the plastic has started to crack. Presumably it's due to vibrations and such?

Either way, curious if it's an isolated issue or if anyone else has heard of it.

Are you referring to the plastic on the air vents? Because the 2TPAM is all aluminum. I have no cracking whatsoever 2+ years installed

Can’t really see them without disassembling stuff, but I haven’t noticed anything from the front.

Take it easy with the hardware. I drilled pilot holes large enough for my screws to go in the sides of the air vents to prevent all that pressure to cause any cracking.

Technically I used smaller screws that what was provided to me from Expedition Essentials

Mine seems to be good, though I did not tighten everything down very tight.

i always wondered if a slight over bend would be better than the more accurate bend. or wonder if some soft foam padding would be beneficial
