That’s assuming it’s stock and for a lack of weight no?

Would there be an advantage to getting OmE coils instead for the 5100s?

Bilstein recommends using stock coils. But a lot of others have used OME coils and have been fine. In my opinion it’s up to you.

You will become very experienced in replacing your sagging coils. Go 5th settings on both sides and add a 1/4 shim for the lean. Worked for me.

    A few.
Doing that will have it setting 1" higher in front than the rear

Just put 5100's on the front (3rd clip setting) with 1/4" driver lean spacer, sitting level on all 4 corners

dammmmmmn thats alot of reading. but good info. so im planning for 16 DCSB 4x4 5100's on setting 4 with stock springs in front. Icon RXT leafs on setting 2. ( i tow a 3500lb toy hauler 5-6 time a yr 200miles with WDH) other than that never off road. have BA rear bumper and bed mat.
    1. should i go with setting 1 or 2 for leafs?
    2. 5100 or 5125 for rear?
    3. do i "need" new UCA's

    TIA

Option 1 put me up 3.0in over my sagged stock leafs. I have a soft topper, bed mat, and recovery gear back there. I might say Option 2 since you are towing?

    Definitely 5125s.

If you are around 1.5in to 2.0in up front, your stock UCAs are likely okay. Mine are doing alright with Clip 4 on the left and Clip 3 on the right.

    You're welcome.

I had to add shims. 3/8in, I think. I would wait until you're done to see if you get any vibes. Mine were there just getting going from a stop.

What size bump stops will I need with 2 to 2.5 lift in rear? 4.25" too big?

Prob ordering from Wheelers or Summit
Rather get from wheelers but springs are $110 cheaper on summit.

    Thanks

How do the 5100’s ride on the road compared to the stock SR5 Hitachi’s? Firmer or softer?

It depends on you left pack thickness and collapsed shock length. If you are making no changes there, then the stock bumps are likely okay. Note that the 5100 collapsed length is the same as stock for the 3rd Gens.

went with #4 setting on the front and a progressive AAL in the rear (replacing the overload spring). sits nice and level, maybe a slight rake like OEM.

Im currently on the 5th clip on stock springs with a 1.5in block in the rear. I don’t like it level and want some rake back. I’m torn on going down to 3rd or 4th clip. I think I’d almost want 1.5 in of rake to get some utility back in the bed. Would 3 give about 1.5 of rake with 1.5 block or would it be too much?

We don't know enough about your Taco or what springs you are using. But, on those setting I have 1.5in of rack using the stock Sport springs and RXT Option 1 leafs.

Oops! You did mention that in you post. My bad. The lower clips will work for you.

I’m not sure if I’ve seen this exact setup yet. With the 3rd clip and 1.5in block. I’ve seen 4th clip and 1.5 rear but it looks like most only have about .5 of rake with that setup. To me that would be about level while driving or with any sort of load.
