    He says he spent 100 bucks to have a guy fix the welds and makes 1000 dollars a day

    Pretty sure a guy who makes 1k a day wouldn't be driving a 300k mile tundra with peeling clear coat and floppy headlights

    Nailed it. Anyone who has money to flex probably wouldn't be talking your ear off about it

    I used to see trucks Davis had for sale years back. Always cleaned em up, painted the frames and marked em up for sale.

    At $60K, although more restoration than most, still nowhere near restos I've seen, and I can't imagine it'd take a year, seems like a pipe dream price for a 3rd gen Runner. Maybe its just me.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    I would stop focusing on the one owner aspect. Just find something that's clean the rest of these vehicles is so simple if you need to fix something you can fix it all parts are abundant. My grandpa's BMW is a one owner vehicle that doesn't make it a good vehicle it's not even all that well cared for

    Oh I wasn't considering that for me haha, just saw it on eBay and thought holy shit, why?
    I'm fine with more than one owner.

    No kidding. My mom is trying to find someone to drive my grandma's Subaru from Seattle to CO for free and I'm like... Sell it there and buy another. It's a POS even though it's a "low mileage" one owner vehicle

    I'm just not doing another 4+ owner and accident on record. I was pulling glass out of random places in the Cruiser for months after I got it.

    reminds me of the time I locked my keys out of my 5 lug and kicked my rear glass out in frustration, I’m still finding random prices of glass years later even after taking the seats out and cleaning

    I'd hear little rattles start out of nowhere and sure enough more glass found its way into someplace new. I don't even know which window or windows broke in that thing but it must've traveled pretty far.

    Dude it’s crazy that it doesn’t just fall straight down, granted I was mad and sleep deprived but I even found glass in the two vents above the hvac control and on the top of the carpet under the petals.

    A positive note to this story;
    My 03 had the shitty 4 window rear slider. Got a immaculate 03-04 three pane slider the much better one for 30 bucks out of a double cab. It was nice

    people in Hawaii always swap there tacomas to solid back windows so we usually can find these for cheap. It was interesting putting it in with paracord

    It was an interesting learning experience putting a window in. Looks super easy on YouTube haha.

    yup I spent a solid two hours. I’d imagine if I have to do it again I understand it better. Paracord is just a hair too small of a diameter but it’s what I had on hand, also I did it alone so it would have helped to have someone with me lol
