Southern Style Offroad Order Cancelled

I ordered a SSO bumper for my Tacoma early November when they started their Black Friday promotion. I still haven’t gotten any emails regarding the status of the order but I’ve been checking the order tracker periodically. I watched it move from in fab to final fab to powder coating prep and recently, pending payment. This was concerning because the payment went through upon ordering. I reached out to a company rep through email and I was told there was a computer glitch on their end and not to worry (this was a few weeks ago). I just checked the order status tonight and now it says cancelled. Is anyone having a similar experience? I’m not getting the warm and fuzzy even though I’ve heard great things about SSO and their products. Does anybody have a bumper on order that can share their experience thus far?

I placed an order for sliders Nov 24th. Early Dec the order status switched to "materials ordered." The status stayed that way until today..."order canceled." So you're better off than me, at least your item was made. Probably just a computer with crossed wires...or a fabricater with fat fingers. Haha.

I did send a DM, when I hear somethings I'll report back.

These are the same douchebags that couldn't deliver on someone's order and charged him a restocking fee and blamed covid. I love to support small business, but usually people that are great builders are terrible at running a business.

 

Kind of sad to see the state of all the fab shops in the industry right now.

 

I recently ordered a front bumper from them. I guess I’ll see how it goes

 

I received a prompt response via a personal email that my order HAS NOT been cancelled and that it's currently in fabrication. They have a glitch that their computer folks are trying to weed out. Apparently it's happing to lots of orders.
