The original e coat is to not be disturbed when doing body work per toyota protocol

I can't imagine how many edges that got sanded down to bare metal will be rusting through in 5 years

Shit I did a better job removing and installing all the shit on my $1650 4 runner

They left the windows trim and door handles on, 60k for that shit

You're in AZ so don't run a wet cell, it's too hot for cheap flooded batteries. If you have an AGM and corrosion issues then you've got a major heat source too close to the battery

Why are Toytec's shown as being installed and then another picture of the "same" vehicle with Kings?

Same with the rears; there's a boot on the shock but in the same outdoor pic you can see the shaft and eyelet which is that of a King shock.

Huh I never realized there was a dry option other than Lithium based. It's in stock position though and nothing hot other than the engine on that side. But I guess it could be something with this Walmart battery since it was never this bad before

Who knows. It does say that one with Kings was a vehicle they already built and sold, but like you said, they used the term, "identical." I guess that's loose. I was just surprised by the listing.

Id run an AGM, mine never struggled there l, they're not dry per say but they're not spillable. It's an absorbed glass mat so, the electrolyte is all contained in the mat rather than just sloshing around some lead

    Makes sense.

I've just always gone by the, if it's pictured, that's what you're buying unless there was an actual disclaimer on the photo itself.

I didn't care to read the ad; that's a ridiculous amount they want for it.
