    When I used to get the ebay kits they were always toyota shit. $300 ish I think for a tbelt kit but came with everything.

    If I understand what I've found online correctly I could use both flanges to make a shaft for the 85

    My 04 had a water pump/timing belt job done in ~2016 before I knew how to work on cars.

    Fan bracket was missing a nut, paper gasket, they ground down the mating surface of the water pump taking material off the block, and other oddness. Original idler, tensioner bearing, and auto tensioner, as expected. Gates water pump, belt, and thermostat with no jiggle valve.

    I’ve scraped at that paper gasket for over an hour and there is still some baked on the block. Bought the specific Toyota FIPG for coolant and I’ll be using a bit more than called for in the FSM. Hopefully it seals with all the imperfections.
