Mr OZ-T,, I am trying very hard to be friendly and getting along with everybody, but I have always found out that everybody says some item is the best just because it is advertized more! Just like motor oil! Everybody says one brand is the best and that certain brand is the brand thats most advertized.
Corporate capaitalists have us brainwashed like mind-numb robots and they are sitting in their plush office laughing at us how stupid we are saying they can bottle recycled road tar in a bottle and sell it to us as the top grade of motor oil.
I was being friendly and just trying to help by making everybody think about it before they make a purchace on any product.

edit: Its he 20th anversity of the beating of Rodney King, "can't we all just get along'?

It's been my experience that people who go around proclaiming that they're smarter then other people generally are the opposite of their claims.

We're in 2011, I can't spell worth a shit either, but there is a little thing called "spell check" that is built into most browsers. I'm fairly sure a genius and or intellectual would figure out squiggly underlined red = bad.

I'm siding with OZ-T on this as well, spelling corrections in bold.

On topic: I was using mobil1 until my last oil change where i was broke so i bought Oreilly synth. with mobil1 filter as its the same as k&n but a dollar cheaper. If my engine doesn't blow up, I'll consider it a good buy

I use Amsoil 0w30 with the EaO filter.

But as for the rest of this thread, I'm laughing my ass off between all the bickering going on. I don't know why everyone is getting their panties all in a bunch just because someone else doesn't agree with what oil/oil filter combo they are using. Who the hell cares if Joe Schmoe doesn't like the oil you're using or doesn't understand the difference between GL-4 and GL-5. A farmer doesn't bother telling his pig that his breath smells like shit.

I have my :crapstorm: ready in case I get any poo flung my way.

Excuse me if I find it ironic if someone who professes to be the most intelligent person on this site can't spell .

From the above quote ; capaitalists , purchace , anversity .

Maybe you have attained a higher level of communication I haven't achieved , and perhaps cannot even comprehend .

Mobil 1 in mine. It has been a really good oil in the past 3 vehicles I've had. I don't hate on any others, just put it in my old Blazer and haven't changed since.

I know people personally that will call you every name in the book and even pick a physical fight with you if you admit using Amsoil.
I know motorcycle dealers if you walk in and ask for Amsoil they will throw you out of the building.
I know NEW car dealers that will void your warranty if you use Amsoil
I have nothing against Amsoil, I don't recommend it, or condem it.
I just suggest you keep quiet about Amsoil , never admit you use it

Love it. Joined in Jan/11 and I bet his intellemelectual brain has been on fire ever since because we're all so inferior. Hey hotshot: if you're "trying very hard to be friendly and getting along with everybody" maybe it's not us, but your own narcissism speaking.

To keep it on topic though, I use M1 Synthetic with a M1 209 extended size filter every 10k.

My motorcycle mechanic uses AMSOil in his bike and his sled... I use it in my bike, but I put Castrol SynPower in my VW because it was the only thing I found locally in 5W40. In the truck I tell the dealer "full synthetic," and they charge me $30 for my free oil change.

Recycled Road Tar has done me well so far. I shall continue to use it.

Bartstar's fantastic claims regarding his extreme intelligence must be considered false advertising.

We should follow his advice that he isn't believable and ignore him.

Any advice on Kendall Synthetic Oil with "titanium"? I'm having to pay a shop to change my oil/tire rotation because I have NO time at all. They use synthetic Kendall motor oil, and I've never heard of it. What do some of you know about it?

The Best Synthetic oil you can buy is Pennzoil Ultra. It's new this year. Nothing keeps your engine cleaner. Helps with the Tick!
