Yes, mainly Battlefield 4. Used to halo pretty hard back in the day. Always been an xbox guy for console gaming. But Nintendo is also a favorite.

Any particular reason why you were Xbox and not Playstation?

Just curious. Like to get people's thoughts and opinions.

I'm kinda leaning towards the PS5 more and more.... if I could find a good deal on FB Marketplace of course. Can't find them in stock anywhere around here.

Saw what I think was a good deal on one in Plainville (supposedly, according to the listing info), but the guy doesn't really want to "negotiate" so I kinda gave up.... for now.

 

I gravitated towards Xbox because thats what most of my friends had, and cross platform gaming wasnt a thing yet. So for me, it was all because I wanted to be able to play online with my friends.

If you are going pure performance, build a pc. If comparing performance between xbox and ps, look at the series x (i wouldnt personally get the series s- no disc drive and doesn’t provide true 4k; series x does both however). They are pretty comparable but xbox seems to be better by the numbers

 

And yea, supply for both is low. But it seems you can order from most retailers (best buy/walmart) if you are ok waiting a week for delivery. My buddy on Long Island just got a series X through best buy last week; ordered online.

I am still running my (almost) 10 year old Xbox one. Waiting for one of the kiddos to brake it so I can upgrade - that and my tv. Little shit has been shooting the tv with a nerf gun.

 

Yeah, I saw all that stuff and read a bunch of "reviews" as well. The specs are pretty close.

Price wise they are comparable for sure. So I guess in the end it's probably more a preference thing.

You are lucky. I bought the elite 360. Had it a decent time before it rrod’d. Microsoft had a program where you would pay to renew the warranty (mine was well expired). And you would then send it in and they would fix it and send it back. It lasted a decent time until it rrod’d again. That program expired and I wasnt in a position to buy another machine. My buddy gave me his old 360, which I used until that one shit the bed with a red ring. Thats when I got my current Xbox one.

Those 360s loved to do that.

 

Sheesh, that definitely would've been a huge turnoff for me honestly...but forza 4 is still my favorite racing game to this day so who knows

 

My og xbox still works, and my current xbox one has 9 years and 0 issues. If I only told you how hours I have on battlefield4 alone… I just think the 360s had a design flaw.
