I had my sway bar off for a little while and it was fun going around corners with all the body roll but when I put my RTT back on the sway bar went on as well. I thought I was going to roll the first corner I took with the tent on top. And now I'm pulling a heavy trailer so it is going to stay on unless I get some more aggressive front shocks.

I had the sway bar off for awhile after I put on my 6112's up front. It wasn't actually that bad on road in terms of body roll, but when I would drift some gravel roads and try to transition weight to transfer to the next corner it got sketchy as all hell. I immediately put it back on. However, it was worlds better offroad. What I ended up doing is putting a TRD offroad sway bar on (I had a trd sport, which is about twice as thick) and it made a big enough difference to make it worth it for me.

I would agree, to each their own but i definitely recommend an upgrade. I went with a Dasaita unit and it was 100% plug and play. I like the full size screen and i can still use radio, bluetooth, steering wheel controls and everything else. it was about $500 all in but hands down my favorite thing ive done.

So much better than that old unit. Wish i did this years ago. Also eliminates the need for a GPS (although i do have a backup just in case)

Mounted my front camera and it looks like I need to black out the mounting nut... I fabbed up a little 20ga SS bracket to mount it facing directly forward rather than at the ground. I have a tendency to hop out, spot my line, then completely forget everything as soon as I land back in the seat. Hoping this makes it easier to recall what I looked at 11 seconds earlier.

It got too cold to finish running the wires into the cab but I'm happy so far. I'm excited to see what this $10 camera can do.

    Please excuse the DIRTY truck.

EDIT: oh yeah, here's the link to the camera and they still have the $29 off coupon:

Replaced shift knob, had window tint applied, installed tonneau cover & installed a bed extender.
Working on that, already requested a test kit from blackstone so I'm currently waiting on that.

Economy lot parked right next to the garage. I actually went to the media with the story to raise awareness and had 2:06 seconds of airtime on Chicago CBS news. It was all provoked over the letter they sent me basically stating that I was stupid to park there and it was my fault. I would never park a vehicle there or at any of the external lots the more research I have done. I actually was able to dig up like 90+ car theft reports from a cop friend out of that lot and the break in thing is an incredibly common occurrence.

The bottom line is we the middle class; the people that go to work, pay their bills/taxes, consume the goods and services are the most victimized group on the planet. The petty thief will always steal from us, as will big business. We are the reason places like Midway airport thrive and exist cause we keep the economy moving... and unfortunately it is easier to turn a blind eye. We are the swine that consumes and gets slaughtered. Google Security Concerns at Midway Parking on CBS if you want to seethe story.
