What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

OMG!! Like night and day!
I have been seriously researching information about brighter lights for my truck.


Do you get flashed at by on coming cars a lot?
Do you think the brighter bulb will eventually melt the headlight surround?

 

I did a bunch of cosmetic stuff:

• Used Predator Steps
• OEM Pro Black-Out Covers for Tacoma Badges
• OEM-like Pro-Grille with Army Green letters
• Glove-box Tacoma jewelry

The grille switch out went great. I got an OEM sensor cover from someone on TW. No warnings and adaptive cruise is working fine. Black looks great on this truck. Going to go to some pair of Pro wheels once I swap back to my summer tires.

 

Haven’t been flashed once.

As far as it melting, it might have been an mentioned somewhere that no one has experienced this as of yet. (I could be wrong).

@crashnburn80 Would be the pro to ask around these parts.

With that being said. It’s a great upgrade for us NON Led housing folk.

In general, positive. There are things I'll purchase on ebay when I need them quickly. The same items are often cheaper on AliExpress because some ebay sellers have to mark the items up. Some items on ebay are shipped from China, so I suspect the sources are the same.
Worth consideration. I've had good experiences thus far, only a few times experiencing appreciable delays. YMMV

Yep, I've always gotten white trucks but decided to go for something different this time around!

 

I did a similar thing but it’s a full sheet of paper and with my owners manual. I’m also starting to do my own regular maintenance so I wanted to be able to add things I forgot. The lamination is a great idea and will be shrinking my sheet and laminating in the future…looks great and it’s a great idea! Nice and clean

 

Paid her off today. Best mod ever.

Matchbox makes a white access cab 3rd gen with overlander camper type thing. I snagged one and customized it to look like my truck



As far as whyd… added a bug deflector/hood protector

 

Yup. These are the hi/low. I don't have a clip but easy to find on YouTube.

 

Used brackets that came with the horns and the existing holes. All I needed was a bolt for the left one.

 

Did you find out anything on these? I have a variety pack laying around I got on Amazon and the closest one in the box doesn't fit that well and some don't even close. I'd rather get the OEM ones like you.
