It’s a 5.3 but I don’t know what ls that is

 

Should be the LS part three: the return of the small block.

 

There’s cheap turbo kits for it, and that got me excited

 

I think I've looked at every single one. I would still do bolt-on for the Silverado. There's just something about a work truck pulling up next to you with a little lope. "Is it running like crap or is there something going on?"

 

How much power can you get from just bolt ons?

 

I wasn't looking for anything crazy, but 500-550 HP is easily doable.

What kind of alternator is this?

 

Probably has something to do with the e-torque system they use.
