Weird. I'm subscribed to it. His wife must be getting PCS'ed. He could still wheel. There are some rocks where he's going. And he'd be kind of close to Moab, etc.

Hobbies come and go. I think automotive hobbies are difficult to keep up for long periods. They are expensive, laborious, and ever changing. I’ve taken breaks from cars to come back after a couple years, but never into the same niche because it burned me out.

I've always floated back and forth between motorcycles and cars/trucks. And when I say floated, I mean focused on one over the other. Automotive has been a passion of mine since I can remember. I couldn't even tell you why. No one in my family is mechanically inclined except for maybe my uncle, and his "cool car" ownership only started happening recently. I've gone from one build style to another. I'm not particular to anything. I just like doing the build. I have days where I say I'm done. I don't have the energy for the work or blowing all the money. But somehow I find myself doing it all over again. I have a few other hobbies outside "cars." But they're casual. Cars have been an integral part of my life since day one. I don't know that I could easily walk away from them.

This is why we're friends. If your dream car is a Porsche then we're soul mates.

Yes. Otherwise I would be the future owner of the 911 Dakar.

Patrick, do you still have that GMRS radio I sold you? I have had the other end of the plug on the back sitting on my desk at home since you got it. I've been meaning to say something and I forget every time.
