It was originally done by Ian Hunter in the 1970s, and then Great White did a cover of it in 1989, which went triple platinum...

Should be interesting how it stacks up against mine.

But have you played that other song we jammed to on yours yet, Charlie?

A song that we jammed to on mine? I'm confused. A chain reaction of a failed thermostat that led to a blown head gasket robbed me of the chance to drive my truck to Massachusetts; I'm hoping that we will rent the house in Rockport from my dad's Navy buddy again, and obviously I will drive the Tacoma up there if we do...

Seriously though, when did we ever listen to music together in my truck?

No..have you listened to that other song that we jammed to (IN MY TRUCK, OOPS) on your truck?

I recall you said based on Great White mine was kickass and curious if you tested the other one on your own system. Multitasking whilst typling haha

It's less Tacoma and more mod
You're thinking of the Honda Passport which was a rebadged Isuzu Rodeo

Well, Acura is to Honda what Lexus is to Toyota, so they're all the same vehicle; Honda just didn't want to spend the money to develop its own SUV at the time. The Pilot finally came around in 2003; I believe that the Trooper/SLX and Rodeo/Passport had the same 3.2L V6 from 1993 onward? The Rodeo had either a 2.6L 4-banger or a shitty GM 3.1L V6 that made the same measly 120hp horsepower as the 2.6L but made slightly more torque. The Trooper had the 3.2L V6 beginning in 1992 with the redesign, and this made a highly competitive (for the time) 190 horsepower. The Rodeo got this same engine beginning in 1993, the Passport debuted in 1994 or 1995 I believe, and the SLX debuted in 1996...?

I am not afraid to admit it.
I “almost” went with a Honda Element over the Tacoma.
The PreRunner was more practical for my use at the time.
Then I needed a 4x4, so I upgraded to a v6, Auto, and tow package.

My parents almost bought me a new Element instead of the Tacoma; I forget why we didn't buy an Element, but the Element is available with 4WD. I've even driven a 5-speed stick Element before!

An interesting note regarding Honda's foray into the SUV world. Would you believe that Honda sold the first generation Land Rover Discovery in Japan as the Honda Crossroad?
    upload_2023-2-6_17-30-7.jpg

It also carries the distinction being the first, and only, V8 Honda. You can imagine how well this went.

My buddy Phoenix, AZ had once.
I believe it was sport or something?
I didn’t have carpet. Which I actually liked.
