When accelerating from stopped position, experiencing noticeable lag & jolt between pressing the accelerator and xmsn catching. When slowing similar lag & jolt occurs when braking. Doesn't occur all the time but getting increasingly frequent.

Took to dealership and they noted no xmsn codes and said it was normal.

    Any thoughts or insight appreciated

Fluid level good? When's the last time you've changed the fluid?

Sounds like it could be a torque-converter issue. Have you verified that you have the proper fluid level in the transmission, and is it in good shape? Do you have or have access to a scan tool which can monitor the Trans & TC Temp PIDs? It would be interesting to see if the TC is warmer than it should be.

Fluid level is good; changed at 118k. That was the dealership's one recommendation.

Find a good, independent transmission shop and pay for a diagnosis.

Did you personally check it via the proper temp check method?

That may or may not be accurate. These transmissions are VERY sensitive to operating temperature as far as checking the fluid level.
