We haven’t created a flow chart on page 1 for paths people can take with recommended prerequisites (like fuel pump for XX size pulley and smaller), but I believe that an intake will help as a first step.

Keep in mind that you’ll have to move the SAIS system on your 2013.

If you don’t care about the RED TRD couplers or branding, you can also go for the AFE Stage 2 intake:
    https://afepower.com/afe-power-54-82342-magnum-force-stage-2-si-pro-5r-cold-air-intake-system
(This comes with the SAIS relocation bracket).

And if you’re driving around in dust/sand, I have noticed a big help with putting on pre-filters:

Is the 3 inch cat back not the TRD exhaust that came stock? I'm stoked to hear the 2.5 pulley will still add a little :)

Not too picky on aesthetics but I'm runny the pro dry afe currently on my 2013. I'm purchasing a supercharged 2015 inferno pro though so SAIS would still need to be moved? I'll ask the owner of the truck about that today :) thanks brother!!

    It's not hard to do.

AFE makes a bracket to move it to the rear of the engine compartment. Flowmaster/Holley makes a bracket to move it forward, next to the radiator.

I moved mine forward - really easy to do. I did extend the wiring harness - it was too tight for my comfort.

I also replaced the hose with a pre-bent one (90* bend) from Gates.

Yep, it’s not hard. That’s why I was recommending the AFE Stage 2 that even includes the bracket. All you do is remove the SAIS bolt/nuts from the inner fender and move it to the bracket.

If you want to get more fancy with other relocations, you may need a wiring harness extension and bracket(s).

New gaskets came in so swapped those out real quick tonight. That old one is from my passenger side that was the worst of the 2.

We should create a flow chart indeed, but there are so many variables when it comes to modding and so many ways to skin the cat that it would make anything resembling a chart more overly complex than it needs to be.

Documenting the spiral of mod addiction. It starts with a slightly undersized pulley and before you know it....

Dang it, sorry there hasn’t been any progress. Ask them to put a battery tender on it for you at least.

That sucks so bad and is a risk with mods. You need a second vehicle as having issues with a daily makes life very difficult.

I've had to complete many mods with serious advance planning or in shitty weather just trying to make sure my wheels work for Monday. Luckily I've had a company truck for the last half year and that has helped immensely with mod stress.

It'll be a sad day to see you get rid of your truck but such is life sometimes.
