Savage! The one thing about these light weight aluminum pulleys i don’t like is that they get damaged in the process of a belt shredding.

What did you and Scott decide on for redline? Are you 6200?

That is certainly a possibility although I've been lucky in that regard so far.

No, still at 5750 here. Maybe 6200 someday...

That'll be a fun project. The pic makes it look kind of like you're turning your whole back end of your truck into a sub box.

With that big bastard sub that'll pretty much be the case!

Can’t even imagine what that’s going to sound like. I got a 18” Dayton Ultimax a year ago for my living room

And it’s still sitting there waiting to be assembled

Lol. Don't worry, you're in good procrastinators company on this thread. When it comes to me personally anyways.

Believe it or not, I also bought a crossover unit so I can push the low-lows to the big sub and the high-lows to the current 10" sub. The 10" already booms pretty good but I just want to add bass until I have too much.

External oil cooler (old one was integrated into the rad and it seeped at the connections). Didn't take that many pictures so I will take some more this week when I'm in to replace that SC belt and show you guys.

Also cut some material and re-welded the brackets for the sway bar, there was a lot of play (but bushings were fine) and it was clunking around corners and sharp bumps.

Shit ya - I can't have enough bass. Even after I get this in, I still doubt I will. But here's hoping. It will have it's own dedicated amp and be bumping along with the 10" that's in there now, which has been doing an admirable job.

Not a blow-through... considered it though... but I think at my power levels it won't be a huge benefit (dunno for sure, just guessing based on what I read on Google. Lol)

Nope. Meant to do that yesterday but ran out of time. Lol. It's running on 4 ribs right now. I'll just go easy on it and do it later this week...

So you're stuffing that 18 in the cab behind the seats or what? lol

I've been more than satisfied with my Sundown SD-D2 10.. I've tried to kill it.. but it just keeps killing boxes.

Lol not yet - I'm getting a big-ish (6cuft) box made and it will just be modular and sit in the back seat. Kinda ghetto but you've gotta just get it done if you need bass...

Is that Sundown a single 2ohm then?

I recall this one guy back in the day had 2 18"s in a single cab pick up. That was wild. 2 15's with 1500+ watts was vehicle shaking. Its ben a long time since i had some proper bass. seeing this makes me want to get back in the game. Been struggling on where I would put it. @XPOTRPR do you still have back seats in or that only works with them out? That looks like a decent setup there. As much as I want to go bigger a 10" or event 8" seems like what i can do. I did see JL's new W3 6" subs too. That would be interesting.

I have the JL dual 10 box. I kept blowing subs because I couldn't tell the difference between rattling and clipping - the box needs some work to get the rattles to stop. For now, since I've been spending money on everything else, I just have a 10" box on the seat.

Your setup does make me want to get that fixed, though.
