This was my logic on the COVID stimulus checks. My wife and I seriously discussed donating ours because we didn't agree with the Gov handing out free money. Then I realized "hang on, that's not free money. That's MY money from MY taxes." So I spent it on guns and ammo.

But the deference on the tax stamp is a little different. It doesn't cost the Gov anything (besides a few minutes of some low level bureaucrat's time and a paper stamp) to generate them. It's more like "we're not going to enforce this tax that shouldn't even be considered constitutional in the first place."

I don't disagree, had I qualified? You betcha yo ass, I would've reclaimed some of my money.
That said, I am not empowering them with their free bait.

I finally certified my rugged oculus on Tuesday. My SOT had been trying for the past 7 days but either eforms or pay.gov was down so he couldn't. They won't make anything easy for us.

Guy that does prints at local LEO ID office knows nothing about guns, but told me he's been doing 4-5 "SBR fingerprint" appointments per day. Hillarious.

That’s the big GOV, if you want anything to be slower and more expensive, get them involved.

I dunno. Those clit mouse IBMs look a lot more high tech and up to date than the eforms interface.

Yeah my Global Entry card was extended 3 times after the expiration date since DHS couldn’t seem to process renewal applications fast enough.

Marques XVIII is running great. Initially I had trouble adjusting the gas block because the bolt wouldn’t lock back after emptying a mag. Finally got that settled and noticed my ejection is at 3:50ish-4:05ish o’clock, which is ideal.

Hey guys, I've exhausted my google search skills and thought maybe some of you could chime in on what parts you might think these are.
I'm trying to make a replica of this model "M4A1" from modern warfare 3, one of my favorite games from way back when. I just need some help with the handguard setup, gas block, flash hider, and receiver end plate. I believe the flash hider is custom, and it wouldn't be too unreasonable to get one like it machined, as it should be pretty quick to turn on a lathe and make those vent cuts. I can't for life of me find a gas block like this one though. The best example I could find was on this guy's airsoft replica, but I'm willing to bet it's 3D printed since it doesn't have to work. I've got a YHM gas block sight which I may be stuck using, but I'd prefer to get as close as I can. As for the handguard, the closest thing I can find is the KAC M4 RAS, but it requires a handguard cap which would typically be part of a pinned FSB. I guess Frontier Tactical used to make clamp on handguard caps for situations such as these, but I guess they weren't a very profitable product haha. I may end up needing to cut a handguard cap and make it a two piece clamp on myself. Aside from that, there are fewer holes in the game model's handguard than I've been able to find on any real one. Finally, the receiver end plate has a rather unique sling mounting position that I haven't been able to find on any real end plates. Once again, not impossible to DIY, but I'd rather just buy one if somebody knows of a real version. I'm hoping maybe some of you guys have come across parts that may fit this build, and if not, may have some creative ideas.

Without watching, that's the one where it ejects through the magwell, allowing for easy brass capture, right?
