Not sure on the gen @Running Board Man has that he gets to drive(I think it's his dads?) But he compliments the truck anytime he's talked about it. I don't mind the boring interior, I usually prefer plain anyway

Yeah I don't mind it either. I like an interior that doesn't scream at you. Never driven one, but might have to. I think @Running Board Man is pre-refresh? Not sure.

@Abeyancer Come to think of it, I've never driven an Xterra either.

I have, they're a good daily, absolutely gutless if they don't have the 4.0 tho. Terrible suspension travel though, just pathetic, they look rugged and are not.

When I was younger before I got into Yotas, I loved the Xterras just looks alone. Never driven one either but they always looked cool to me, the earlier ones anyway

They had a supercharger dealer option too right? Them and the Frontiers, iirc that was partly what prompted Toyota/TRD to offer one....or maybe it was the other way around

Yeah the 3.3 has a supercharger option, it's a waste. That engine responds extremely well to boost and myself and a friend have made over 650hp and 600ft lb of torque with one. But they need a turbo, not that pathetic little supercharger.

Well that's unfortunate. I guess I just never paid em much attention, other than thinking some of them looked cool and I figured they were capable since they seemed to lean hard into that image. Maybe that's why you can get em so cheap.

The VR engines, not a ton no. But a little, haven't gotten a chance to play much with them.

Yeah same. And I don't know anyone who has one. Might try to set up a drive in one just to see how it feels.

Been there when it’s like that. It’s a madhouse when the water is good.

You’d think they’d have onboard redundant ECC safe word storage to go with that

Entire grid for our part of town just lost power, I'll take that as my cue to leave work early
