    I wouldn't want mine back with the frame the way it is with the hole in it as I plan to keep my truck for a long time. That's why I'm hoping this identical truck checks out and tomorrow I'll be driving a better truck home from Idianapolis. New ones are okay but I like the truck I had plus they are way out of my price range. I did see a 3rd gen with something like 250k on it and they were asking around 20k for it!

    Oooh that's right re the frame on yours. Yeah this sounds like a blessing in disguise ultimately even if you don't get the one you looked at. Different situation, my friend's old Kia that needed at least $800-1000 of work soon and was at about 200K got rearended. Insurance paid her about 4k.

    My buddy has a Kia that he put 240k on (he drives 74 miles one-way to work)...anyhow, a couple of years ago he got a CEL and took it to the dealership, there was a recall on the motor...he got a new motor for nothing. Still drives it daily with well over 300k on it.
