Gas fired probably, assuming that it isn't a dinosaur from last century there will be two motors that could squeal, the blower and the draftor. Draftors fail more often that blowers.

If the service company tells you there will be a super long time to get a replacement you can usually re-lube them and get by for a bit if needed.
    Use 20 grade non-detergent oil.

The service company generally won't do it and will say it can't be done. If it comes to that give a yell and I can coach you through it.

    Correct.
Installed when the house was built 10 years ago.
If the draftor is the same as the inducer, that was replaced 2 years ago.

Good to know. I'll see what they say and go from there. :)

Is there an LED light on the gas valve?

    Count the sequence.

I concur! The mass of the bike and tires drag from the design might be a major cause to the speed deceleration.

That's how they all are. You have to wait until somebody croaks before they come up for sale and you have to do it before the kids or grandkids mention interest in the vehicle. :anonymous:

I'm still in shock and awe that the 72 mint k5 I wanted sold for 440k and the black 68 k10 sold for 300k. I think I'm in the wrong line of work. Even if I built one a year and sold it at auction...:notsure:

It must be nice to have that type of money !!

About older vehicles people hang onto them thinking one did the Great Grand kids will fix it .

Grand kid begged to get the vehicle Mom said no off for scrap it went.

It was sad it was a rare VW imported via Uncle Sam never sold in the USA. In great shape stored inside .

    Good Friday morning Wrenchmen :hattip:

It is a crisp 12 10 degrees here, 66 in the kitchen, just for curiosity I measured the temperature of the water coming up from the basement at the kitchen sink - 46.6 degrees.

I think I'll have hot tea... :pccoffee:

"Great news" yesterday o_O -- A friendly note included with my electric bill said the rate is going up 24% starting February...:mad::mad:
To be fair they (electric CO-OP) haven't raised the rate since 2018 and to their credit they answer the phone when you call them.

Some of the downtown properties have city gas - that went up 96% this season - right here in the center of the Marcellus shale drilling.
Drilling/fracking will make gas a local product, they said.
This is good for your community, they said.
This will protect your supplies, they said.
It is inconvenient now but you will be rewarded with low, low, low energy costs for decades to come, they said.

    Yeah, right... :redxfall:
