front 3/4 front clip with cooling

hello! i am new to this forum and have enjoyed my 2000 tacoma v6 until two months ago when my 18 year old daughter crashed her (daughter is ok, taco is not)….

insurance totaled her but i bought it back in the hopes of putting humpty dumpty back together again.

my mechanic is really good but is having a hard time finding a complete “right 3/4 front clip with cooling”.

can anyone on this thread give some advice as to where we might find such?
i’m happy to have found this group of aficionados!much appreciation!

 

I have no clue as to what you're looking for, "right 3/4 front clip with cooling". You have any pictures of what you're referring to?

 

If I had to guess, you need a front right fender and possibly inner fender (not sure what's included in "clip"), and the radiator support. You need to ask your mechanic for a little more clarity on what parts you need. "Clip with cooling" might mean something to him, but not to everyone else.

There are few folks on here who regularly part out rigs (you can find them in the BST sub forum), but unless you can find something in a junk yard near by shipping body parts is usually costly. I'd hit one of the regional sub forums and see what resources are available locally to source used body panels.

thank you all for the help! i will see if i can get some other language from my mechanic — here is a pic that may lend a bit of clarification….

 

How does it drive ? That’s really not that bad if it no frame damage. Could use this time to swap to a 4Runner front clip or 01-04 front end. You can spin this to a positive easily.

By front 3/4 clip I assume he means both the core support and both inner fenders from the firewall forward
