This forum has a fixation on gas caps.

 

I use a magnet. Only downfall is you have to mount it. Some mean 3M tape would probably hold but I used screws. But the magnet base is awesome. I have mine mounted just beside drivers seat

 

Where can I find that same gas cap with the thee key and lock. That’s bad ass.

 

A cheap Amazon TRD emblem. Not sure for what Gen it comes from but it looks cool. I think I only paid 13 bucks.

 

I ended up putting a desertdoesit multimount front panel in and bolted an extra holster to it. The whole thing is rock solid and didn;t require any drilling into my new truck.

I know people joke on here...and I appreciate it. (That's a Stant Cap [I tried 3 other caps that didn't work] & the link to the cap holder is on Amazon)

Since joining this Forum, I've seen lots of add-ons & upgrades that I would like for my Sport...granted, some are a bit too much for me--and that's OK.

The one thing I shy away from is replying with negative opinions on any thread...that's just not right. (in my opinion)

But it's FRIDAY and I'm starting out my day by logging-in on here!

Sometimes on a forum it is hard to separate humor from criticism. We are all Tacoma brethren and brothers sometimes give each other a little shit, and within reason that’s OK.

So anyone want to discuss the gas cap holder some more?

Mine came detached the other day, so I laid it on top of my tonneau while I pumped gas. That's gonna trigger the fuck outta some people on here.......

 

Was the tonneau cover damaged? I recommend a 3D printed receptacle adhered to the tonneau cover so you know where to place the cap and to protect the cover from damage.
