20° right now and 0 by 9am.
Then the cold stuff gets here.
-18° tonight with a windchill of -53°.
If anyone loses power today is going to be a big issue quick.
I think I may go put a incandescent light in the Gen box under the engine case to bring the temp
up some.
Lure experimentation in store this weekend…

Morning all! 40 degrees here on the North eastern side of VA. Happy Birthday belated @KRAMERICA I hope you did at least one little special thing for yourself on this day.
@dewayne I hunt on family property next to the zoological foundation & marriot ranch, so I'm familiar with a lot of the deer and bear out there. Good looking bucks. I like to hunt for sheds too. Way better than killing just for them! (I don't believe in waste).

yeah, looks like Texas got it bad again with their power outage. I guess it's not a priority to fix the power grid there. I have a kubota genny to back my system up and a propane tank for the stove and fireplace, so I'm prepped (not a prepper) lol.

Temp is -9° , windchill is -25.
This is short cold snap. Temp come back up tomorrow.

Be smart and careful in this cold.

My plant just got a new addition along with 18 new Mazak CNCs. The main plant sent us a bunch of their work. They decided to get all new tooling. Setting up and maintaining tooling is my job. 2 sets of tools for each machine.

Currently very Brrrrrrrrrrr at 24° feels like 15° , clear blue skies High of 34°

 

That's cold. We are at about 12, with a wind chill of -2. I think I'll skip the walk with the dog today. She just doesn't' like walking in the cold, now that she is older. Years ago, when I had my huskies, they would jump to walk in weather like this.

 

Coco is a 50% outside dog. But when its cold she inside.



The green in the background is a tent I have set up in the basement. Getting everything checked out for my trip to Moab at the end of March.
