Too bad you are so far away from here. My son who is a HVAC tech/business owner could create one for you out of sheet metal. Dou you have anyone who you know in that line of business? If not you may just stop into your local sheetmetal contractor shop and explain your needs. Remember if it is like around here the sheet metal shops are sometimes not one in the same with the HVAC places. No need to get an extra middle man involved if you can han the thing your self.
Here is another idea if your main propane heater/furnace is in the basement with your stove? Let me know and I will explain further.

As our backs became worse we gravitated to machines capable of lifting/splitting large rounds, with less
    "touches" .

The 15 year old Built Rite is still chugging along; gets lent out now mostly, though we use it about 10 hours a year ourselves for the smaller rounds.thumbnail_IMG_1758.jpg

We've always gotten our wood early in the summer or late spring. We stack it outside and cover it up to let it dry out, then throw it inside in fall. Doing it this way we see very minimal bugs

In the past we've just thrown it directly in as soon as we get it, and it's an absolute nightmare for bugs. We had wolf spiders galore, gnats, and even had a hatching of giant ichneumon wasps. Those are unnerving

I was always told, cover in the fall and winter and keep uncovered in the late spring and summer. Also in my area storing wood inside is a no no since ants make nests in the wood and come back in the spring and summer. I'd think bugs would be a problem storing wood indoors. I guess it's all where you live?

Firewood inside can also be a big moisture dump inside your conditioned space

Only if you set the wood on fire before it's in the stove. You know, preheat... :bananadead:

I store 4-5 cord of seasoned wood in the garage beginning in early Sept. What doesn't get used stays
for the next season, usually a little over 1 cord. It's all on racks, off the slab.

We have a garage that extends completely under the house, very long

I don’t store my firewood indoors, those couple logs are just warming up to get burned when ready. Thanks, everyone

Recently purchased my grandparent's old home they built over 40yrs ago. My late grandfather had an old Blaze King out in the shop. Unfortunately, it was too rusted out and I'd be way over my head trying to restore it. But I found the new version of the same stove and just had it installed the other day. Made sure to at least save the ceramic inserts out of the old stove. Just need to find a way to safely display them on the wall or on a shelf behind the new stove.

2023 cutting/splitting/stacking started early due to the mostly milder temps. 2 3/4 cord of oak, walnut & silver maple.

Not a big fan of silver maple, definitely not in the dead of winter except as kindling

You are well stacked! I see your chart gives no mentioned to a wood , which I am sure is in your area - Osage Orange AKa.- Hedge. The BTU per cord will beat all of them by 5 million BTUs . Here is another chart that shows it: BTU Values of Wood Species (wood-heating-solutions.com)
