Ours is honor system based in the sense that literally no one comes around asking for our approved time off request forms, it's up to us to turn them in (though I imagine if you didn't and got caught it wouldn't be good).

Our hours are tracked through our ADP employee portal/website but again, based on the fact that you turned in your request form, otherwise...yeah

I know the practicalities of this vary by industry, but there is a line of thinking that says your time is yours and a PTO request is really nothing more than a courtesy "I won't be here" given to your employer.

Have you considered leaving it over your tailgate in the Wal-Mart parking lot?

nah, i have it stashed away so if i ever find the confidence to bike to the store i have something that i won't cry too much about losing

I tried to sell it but nobody seems to want a 26" that isn't vintage which is fair. I could get $100 bucks for it and buy a cheap beater but that's just a lateral trade with more work lol

That's a good use for it. Everybody should have a locking-up bike.

Is it a long/rough/sketchy ride to the store?

There's a hardline split between the two schools of thought here. Some folks have to have every little thing with them all the time and don't hesitate to add tons of weight to their rigs, then there are the miserly types that only bring something that has multiple uses and doesn't bring any extra conveniences if it takes up more storage.

There's seems to be a lot of talk of tires in here, has anyone ran these before?

Studded bike tires are neat but they don't keep my fingers from going numb.

Maybe you could use a Milwaukee battery for heated grips huh
