Thanks, I had read something about someone getting drawn down from just a few days which was a bit concerning. Guessing they may have already had a week battery, mine never sits for more than a few days so not worried about a month or anything.

I think I've let mine sit for 7 days while on vacation. My truck started right up. Id wager their battery was already on its finally legs

I have an Ultraguage that I ran in multiple vehicles and super handy but I could never find a good place to mount it and route the cable so it wasn't in the way. It annoyed me so much I finally took it out and has been sitting for a while. I like how the scan gauge can sit on the steering column and its out of the way.
Really liking the new SCIII Scan Gauge 3

I have mine in the corner of my windshield, with the wire running down the A-pillar behind the plastic trim. It's currently in the upper DS corner, but planning on moving it to the lower DS corner because I'm tall and if it's in the lower DS corner it blocks 0% of my view (current in the upper DS corner it blocks some view).

Do any of these gauges show what gear an automatic transmission is actually in? The instrument cluster only shows what position the shift lever is in. (I have a 2014 V6 AT.)

Yep they do that. So does my GPS annoying yes, fixable doubtful. Ask a glass shop kind of doubt mirror glue would work with plastic.

You could get about any blue tooth obdII reader for under $50 and just use an old phone to view it. Or your current phone, whatever.

Yeah my windshield mount broke from being in the sun and also got in the way of my sunshade and out here in AZ we use them so much. If I really need to get an eye on anything I'll just bring my ODB scanner and reader with me and run live on it and will tell me everything I want to know

I don't believe UG does. There might not be a signal for that from the ECU.

Ultragauge ordering website is wonky. Anyone have trouble bypassing PayPal when ordering? Not even sure if the order went though? Kind of sketch and am having 2nd thoughts? Any positive experience with these guys?

Scangauge now makes a SG3 with a larger color touch screen. But I like the old school SG2 for the ultra compact size to mount right over the steering wheel. Does the important stuff, including trans temp.

I've now placed 3 orders with them directly from their website. 1 gauge itself and 2 replacement bits for my original mount. I didnt have any issues with my last order but that was a year ago. Granted it has been a while.

Maybe reach out via email or phone if you keep having troubles:notsure:

Went with Scangauge II. Very satisfied. Xgauge programming is very easy. Xgauge is the vehicle specific codes you put in for functions like transmission fluid temperature. Instructions are clear. Works like it should.

They're legit, site is just wonky. I just sent mine in for MX upgrade recently and had it back in like 2 business days.
