Any of you guys ever drop the air and bomb the snow with these?

 

What kind (fresh/compacted) and how much snow are you referring to?

Because yes I can air down to 12PSI and still get stuck or get through it, depending on what and how much snow.

 

Depending on lift and tire size. However much it takes to push with the bumper. But I ordered MT’s today anyway. I think the AT’s are super capable and a serious badass tire though.

 

Finally got them on - Paid $280 for install and alignment + $1020 for the tires before the $100 rebate so all in $1300 before the rebate

 

Update: These tires are marked inside/outside.. I didn’t think to check yesterday, of course the shop mounted them all with ‘inside’ facing out

thankfully they were quick to get it in and make it right after I called and told them

 

either kind. The MT will be better in the deeper stuff I know but be cool to see if anyone’s actually pushed the AT’s in the snow

Good evening. New to me tacoma owner here. I just picked up a 21 trd pro 3600 miles and it came with a set. I absolutely love these tires. Very little road noise and look fantastic. I haven’t taken it out anywhere yet but I’m sure these will be just fine. When these wear out I’ll be getting another set.

Thank you. The wife has a 17 limited 4Runner we bought new. My son took my 97 4Runner that has the 3.4L and it had 339k on it and still looks and runs awesome. Toyota guy for sure. I had a 95 4Runner and an 88 sr5 xcab back in the day

Twin taco what’s it in for?

 

Just spent a week driving around snow and in temps ranging between -1F and 30F degrees and these tires do great for an A/T. Of course, they will still slide on solid ice.

 

Looks Good. Are yours E or SL?

 

Been using them to get up some FSRs this winter, aired down in deep snow they are great. On compact snow/ice they are decent for an AT, but nothing like a true winter.

 

Really digging this look. I just picked up a ‘23 TRD OR in Lunar Rock and am drooling over this. What size tires are those, and any lift?

Anyone weighed the 255/85r17?

I am running the SL 285/70r17 SL right now and have been for little over 1 year. Really do like the tires. Thinking about upping to 255/85 this summer when they run their promo. Website says around 64lbs, but watched the FJ guys video he claims to have weighted them at 43 lbs which seems lite to me.
