no issues with delta joint or bushing play?

thanks. I’m running SPCs and am tired of replacing them every 5k miles. I’m thinking I might switch to the icon tubular delta joints. Based on where my lower cams are and the position of the star plate on the SPC I think I’ll be ok with rubbing issues. On that note, anyone know how much caster the icons add? I’ve heard 3* but can’t seem to confirm.

    Best price for who? :p

Or do you want a realistic price? IMO - sell the GFC for $7k or $8k, and you have about a $12k truck.

Thanks. Any idea how much caster you’re at alignment wise and If your lower cams are maxed?

Recommendations for a window tint shop? I could have sworn there was a TW member who had their own tint business. Trigger Hippie (or something like that... or I might be thinking of the Morcheeba song, who knows?)

I don't need to get tint put on but I need someone to remove the tint from my two front windows of my 04 DC. The previous bro owner put such dark tint all around. It's great during the blaring daylight but god awful to deal with at night or winter storm weather. I just want it off.

    Any recommendations/personal experience is appreciated.

I haven't tried it myself (I just swapped in untinted windows from the junkyard), but from what I read, DIY tint removal is doable.

Spray the windows down with Windex (the OG stuff--I think the ammonia is the important part), wrap them in a black trash bag, let them sit in the sun for a while, and peel.

You just jinxed it for sure :luvya:

I've heard good things about SG tint and Auto Haus in Boulder but i haven't used either. Depending on the shop they should steam removal otherwise they're probably just charging you to do the trash bag trick

I'll give it the good 'ol "fack it" try. If it doesn't work then I'll bring it to a professional.

Invisible glass or Windex should do the trick

I've been told 409 or Simple Green also work but I'd stick with the tried and true
