East coat scale challenge. scale national the bigger one. Colorado has a thriving crawler scene. Where are you located? Key city hobby in Maryland puts on one too

I probably will stop by, I missed class 2 tickets so I likely won't run it. Probably pass through and go camp above it.

I am working with Jon down at the Crawl Space in trying to find a spot for this Sunday. I have a spot above lyons that I am going to check on snow levels this afternoon to see if we can make something work. Its a pretty fun series.

I only got class 1... Thus the contender chassis...

My gc4.3 would work for Sunday though

I went up and checked on Lyons its melted out for the most part. I chatted with Jon and it sounds like we are aiming for a comp on the 18/19th up there.
Hopefully the weather holds out but that area is in a snow shadow and melts much faster than anywhere else I have found.

Almost done with my new charger. 500w, 8s. Has 3 inputs. 120v AC, 12v DC, or xt60 up to 38v. Output is a single xt60 and a 8s balance lead.

It's mounted in a waterproof box from harbor freight. The green part is 3mm aluminum that was laser cut and powder coated.

I'm not sure if you ever came up to fort Collins behind the Nissan dealership before the land was sold and it got fenced off.... But my back gate gives me access to sneak back there and drive a bit. Not great in the winter because the rocks are in the shade and can get dangerously slick. I've also been out to the kayak park on the poudre a bit and to Mariana buttes in the areas north of loveland...but the rangers have gotten to be more proactive around horsetooth and some of the other areas. I keep meaning to chat with some of the lawyers that I work with to understand what is qualified by the motor vehicle restrictions in these areas. I'm not sure from my reading into the law that an rc is a "vehicle". I kinda want to challenge that aspect of the ranger enforcement across the board on trails as well as in the city and state parks....

I definitely want to get out though and will shoot you a message next time I get an itch. I tend to wait for an event of some sort but occasionally go out on my own.

I am actually up there fairly often to visit my girlfriend as well as we have been exploring back a little passed Cherokee Park for snow wheeling.
I have run a couple places like the Kayak park, as well as up near red feather. Some really good stuff around there, as well as a few pins I place that are over towards the Fire lookout west of Red Feather. I'll explore those when the snow melts out.

Shoot me a message anytime you wanna go out.

I have some free time on my hands so I built a new kit.

    upload_2023-2-15_15-31-14.jpg

MST MTX-1 with a Hobbywing Max10 3300kv brushless motor. I went to the Amain hobbies store in Chico, CA and saw the RTR version of this sitting on the shelf for $200 so I did the smart thing and spent double that on the kit version (the RTR only has 4 shocks and is 2WD vs the kit having 8 shocks and 4WD). :D

Thanks! I'm a sucker for anything Toyota themed and also love more unique builds. This was a really fun build to put together.
