Awesome that yours passed CA smog, but consider yourself lucky. If you live in CA, you know the issues many have in getting modified vehicles smogged.

And NJ, while not as strict as CA, also has reasonable standards. It is reasonable to question whether or not a heavily modified vehicle was built to pass their standards.

CA have some on the strictest smog and dumbest way to ticket and target a group of folks who is honestly trying to have fun.

As long as all smog components are in place during inspection, you will have no issue.

Evap - check
No mil light - check

Surprised we don't have frame inspection or brake/lamp inspection every other year

Smog is a money hustle imo. Questioning a vehicles ability to meet it is comparable to asking a vehicles HP to some I guess.
