    You're good!

But I do hope it keeps my MIL a little busy when I'm not watching him! She needs something else to put her free time into for sure.

Drove it to work today (around 35 miles)

No issues, no leaks, no wierd sounds or smells. I'd say we're good to go. Now I just need to get the skids back on and repack the tools the way they should be, and she should be ready for a trip to Hammers.

    Initial thoughts.

I can definitely see what people were saying about more vibrations with the Poly Tcase mount. It's not that much of a deal for me. Just something to get used to. With another mechanical part attached to the frame, I was pretty much expecting it.

I LIKE the way I did the floor board patch. I did 2 layers of 16 gauge sheet metal with foam sound deadener/heat shield between them. Screwed (not welded) so I can get back in to the shifter linkages if needed. Actually makes things quieter than they were before the second case.

I don't love the way the triple sticks ended up, or the way the boot ended up either. It's not enough to make me give a shit too much, but will probably be re-addressed in the future. The sticks do have full range of movement, and they don't hit each other, so they function... I just don't like the way it looks, more than anything.

I bought a knock off Land Cruiser cable to electric vehicle speed sensor adapter... to see if it will work. Was only 13 bucks. It does prove the electrical matches up and it fits in the transfer case properly. We'll see if it continues to work, and then I will order a legit OEM Land Cruiser sensor.

Thoughts on the coils. We also changed those... Went from 700# 14 inch coils on my standard travel coil overs, to 650# 16 inch coils on these LT coil overs. The 650# coil overs weren't fitting great. At full droop there was gap between the preload collar and the top of the coil. So I went down to 550# coils at 18 inches... damn! Those make a difference. I still have all the stability, but they ride REALLY smooth. And no gap at full droop.

For the collective group, I have a question. It seems the common sense approach to truly cleaning the throttle body is removing the IAC ports from the throttle body in order to comfortably spray the throttle body with throttle body/intake cleaner. Of course I’ll get a new iac gasket, but I saw in a video that the person then sprayed the ports to the iac with the motor still attached. Will this damage the motor? Or is the removal of the iac ports (with iac attached) is making sure no gunk lands near the motor assembly?

Cleaning the IAC motor is always risky. Unless it's gunked up and doesn't move freely. I would not clean it. There is a way of testing it when it's off. IIRC, Timmy did this and one of his videos.
