Rough idle & blowing what I would call dark gray smoke (not coolant type). I pass a smog check with my bluedriver OBD2. New MAF & A/F sensors. New exhaust, cats & all. Fairly new O2, IAC & ECTS. Throttle body was Maxbored.... Plus many other things, hoses, gaskets, plugs, injectors. Did a compression test in the fall & all was good. Valve clearance within passing ranges. Fuel pressure passed.

No codes. Not even after whatever happened in the third pic....

I would greatly appreciate input & I'm sure some of you would love to have me shut up about the idle. ;) No. I know you feel my pain. All this hard work is slowly getting reversed....

There was some 1500 lines of data, so I figured I'd pull out some highlights.

This is just some 1st start up stuff, although it looks as if I'm just going into closed loop....

So here 1st I snap the throttle & isn't the TPS supposed to react? Then a more gradual RPM increase.... & I've noticed the TP gets hung up sometimes by .4....
    2023-02-03_175311.jpg

& then WTH with the STF?!?!
(Unrelated to the STF - The ECT is like that because I am curious as to whether it is supposed to go back & forth like that. 141, 142, 142, 141, etc).
    But wait, there's more....
    2023-02-03_175650.jpg

Now we're up to operating temp. Another snap of the throttle.

& just for fun, another with a little more mmph....

It was from the 1st. It was in the garage (doors open). The ECTS temp is 52, IATS is 48, so I’m thinking it was high 30’s outdoors, high 40’s in the garage.
