No I’m just legit curious how someone with a wrx that cross shopped turd gens is still around …

also I would think it’s weird AF posting on a Harley forum without a harley. Unless you’re asking about buying a members

A lot of people have more motorcycles than one, just like some folks own a Tacoma and something else as well.

In scoots, I know Harley guys, and I know motorcycle guys. HD guys, anything else is a joke, a motorcycle guy will have fun on a Vespa.

Oh there will be some mods all right
Since creating an account on here, besides having 2 Tacomas, I've also had a Honda passport, a Nissan frontier a Subaru outback wilderness, and a 2.5 gen tundra. Instead of a Tacoma enthusiast, I'm a vehicle enthusiast. I get excited about all vehicles, even ones I personally won't buy. Cross shopping is only natural for an enthusiast

I had a somewhat similar process, but the age of mine just continued to go up over time haha. Tundra was way more truck than I needed. The Subaru was a desperation buy when I needed something for winter. But ended up keeping way longer than expected as it was an excellent winter / work car. But ultimately ended up back with a Toyota when the outback lost the rust battle

I’m probably here because I’ve owned a Tacoma for 13 years straight now, and also have a Subaru... (Which is the topic of this thread.)

The level of concern you have for my post is impressive.

I drove my stock nissan rogue through the Maze district in canyonlands, 2.5l first gen CVT, before the launch gear. CUVs will get er done to a point =) Tacoma is surprisingly less comfortable for long drives and certainly a lot more gas stops..

Oh…My poor deceased Impreza. It was a 2014 m/t base model I bought used and had used for a SAR vehicle. I kept bottoming out the little shit on and around Pike’s Peak, while my comrades in Wranglers zipped around like it was nothing. So I threw in a two inch lift from Anderson, with the help of my two heavily intoxicated neighbours to install. That got me most everywhere I needed with just a hair of clearance. He died a gruesome death… on I-25 in Denver. RIP Sgt Bill

Are you kidding? That’s why I bought one - again. 100K miles on a Saab 9-2X (Impreza clone). Got ran off the road at 70 mph into the grass median. Punched it and drove right back up onto the highway without skipping a beat. 160K miles on my 2013 Outback and it’s been (nearly) unstoppable in this PA snow. In fact, the only thing that stopped it was driving into snow that was deeper than my bumper because I wanted to see what it would take to stop it.

But I got a Tacoma (again) because I wanted a truck (again). Still have the Subie. Haven’t lifted it, but I get it.

Well since his handle says first gen best gen and 1996, I’d speculate that he probably wound up in this thread because it’s about Subarus not third gens…
But I’m pretty sure after 10 years of membership you’re allowed to post in whatever forum on the site you want. /s
You’d better stick to third gens or the dumbgeon though

I like them in stock, or near stock form. They sip fuel and handle gravel roads nicely as intended. Wouldn't ever want one as a platform to build or wheel.
