...^^^... If the VA is picking up the tab on civilian medical ... check and make sure ALL of the medical bills are paid.

The VA is very slow to pay the bills from civilian docs.

A lot of those questions are SOP when the feds are involved.

Make sure they operate on the correct knee ... good luck with the operation.

FWIW ... I just had an operation on the inside of my nose to fix a nose closing problem ... it was from getting banged up in the military a long time ago.

The civilian doc said it would be a piece of cake .... it was the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE thing in my whole life ... and it took 6 weeks to get better.

 

Yeah, this will be surgery #6 (I think) and the 3rd outside the VA. I have a habit of calling the billing dept of the civi docs and the community care office multiple times after to ensure everything is clear.

Have a pair of wtf today.
Driving into town at 430am, light that I am coming up to turns to green. Car that was already waiting starts to accelerate then slams their brakes as a dipshit on a bicycle blows through his red light across 4 lanes. Good thin it had turned only 5 seconds prior or he would have been flattened by someone, he never slowed down and probably didn't even look.

Second was at my MRI apt. A woman was accompanied by kids and grandkids to her appt at the same office. If you imagine white trash, they would fit the image including the "I pooped today" shirt.

 

I have one of those shirts.

 

This is high art in some circles.

 

I think those circles have people who spend $1000 to dress up like anime characters a couple of times a year at special conventions.

At least they aren't furries.

I always liked the R8 that ran in the ALMS. Seems more pure... graceful and curvy. The R18 is a beast and good looking, but the R8 is my fav.
