2024 Supercross Thread

Deegan looked pretty darn good in qualifying. Might need to start eating my words about not racing this weekend sooner than I anticipated

Excited for the night show.

 

Deegan running low 53's and might have gotten into 52's. Might be the fastest qualifier
in 250's. If he gets a hole shot watch out with a clean track in front of him. Hell Tomac
was running 51's. So 238 is on a fast pace.

 

I don't think Deegan will hole shot tonight, but I think he'll finish somewhere in top 5. With time he will get there.

9. Wilson

 

Note Cole Thompson and Hunter Schlosser racing 250f's in the 450 class tonight.

 

I should probably pick Hill or Plessinger for 9th.

 

How does this work?

 

Pretty sure you can race any CC up-to 450 in that class. Similar approach with 250s (e.g. race a 125 smoker).

There's also a guy on a 350sx-f in the 450 class tonight.

I thought I heard somewhere that Cole was bumping up to 450, but his bike wasn't ready yet, so he figured he'd get his reps in now.

 

Deegan taking 4th in 2nd 250 Heat Race. I'm sure he is happy to transfer out and not
have to race the LCQ.

 

Yeah he looked good for sure. Iffy start but he sliced his was through pretty quickly

 

I bet Kyle Chisholm is...kicking himself.

4th for Deegan in his first main is impressive.
I’m happy to see AJ Catanzaro make the main. Did anyone see what happened to him? Did he crash out?

 

Hope DF is OK. Wasn't moving at all on the ground.

 

Neck brace. That sucks. Too many injuries this early in the season.

 

The neck brace was probably just a precaution.

 

Tomac is just too damn good.

 

Tomac wins again. I think I saw this episode before. Great job by the announcer mistakenly announcing the win to Sexton.

 

The speed of Sexton in his heat race was insane. Then Tomac showed him how it was done in the main

 

No need to use up all your energy winning qualifying.
Will Tomac race SX only a couple more seasons and go after Mcgrath’s all time win record?
