intake mods, firestone airbags, campershell, backup lights,
I see where individuals are putting backup lights recessed into the bumper. For some reason
I kept thinking the bumper was a real bumper instead of plastic. So I mounted it by the rear
license plate. Its ok there I just should have moved it more to the center line so the plate
covered the mount up to the lights edge. may have looked better but it works.
the Schraeder valves are for airbags plumbed individually.

Could have turned the mount 90* too, that might clean it up a bit. Other than that strong work fellow zonie

Idk what to do next. I wanted to add a roof rack but I dont really need one cause I guess I could put traction boards and an axe in the bed. Also wanted to do a grill swap and add raptor lights and ditch lights but idk. Getting enough in tax returns to do it but I'm like allergic to spending money.

Run! Hide! Stay away from here! Or your money will be gone in no time.
Maybe give it a fresh tank of gas and save your money for your next down payment. Otherwise you could order a TRD Skid and have it shipped to my address. I promise to be grateful.

On this car specifically it's just fabric. No insulation.

It's just plastic. Cheap part to replace if anything.

I plan to do the same but with a baja S1 flush mount.

Today’s task was a 65K mile oil change and wash. Although not shown in the picture, I discovered the infamous white paint peel has started. Interestingly enough it’s not in the super common spot on the doors. So far it’s peeling on a few spots around the edge of the hood. Was hoping I might be spared from peeling, but evidently not. Hopefully it doesn’t get bad elsewhere super quick.

Side note- I know everyone has their preference of oil brands, but I have really taken to the Havoline Lifelong found at Walmart. It’s packaged in a plastic bag in a cardboard box…easy to recycle. And it comes in a 6qt capacity, which works out great for the Tacomas. Not bad on pricing either.

Swapped out the stock reverse bulbs for LEDs. I have a fairly long and dark driveway so hopefully this helps a bit more. If not, I'll look into other options.

2 days ago was -18*F and my poor cold taco just barely started. If it had to turn over one more time I don't think it would have. I replaced the oem battery with a Napa Legend AGM,710 cc, 3 year warranty. Today at - 21* , no problem.

Attempted to change the oil today. Should be fairly simple. Got the oil drained and got the filter plug out and filter drained. No problems. However, couldn't get the oil filter case off. Whoever did the last change has it so tight I couldn't get it off. So I went to the local dealer website to schedule a fresh change and because of ToyotaCare, it looks like I can get a free change and tire rotation. They'll drain new fresh oil (aarrrggghhh) and I'll ask them not to torque the filter so tight that it won't come loose next time. :)

Summit Bumper is fully prepped and wired, bumper has been cut and refit, all prep work for the bumper is completely finished.

Summit steps are installed, the anodized steel steps currently curing with a fresh cost of hammered black.

My brother flies in tonight, which we’ll be able to do final install of the bumper as well as drilling/ connecting the side bars.

    WE’RE ALMOST THERE BOYS
