So you're balancing pressure signals from side to side?

    Yeah.

I tried to research both ways but there's very little I could find definitively one way or the other. What I could find is that most twin setups at least include a balance tube, so I figure since I have one Tial wastegate, I'll just make the best of it. They have to merge on the cold side anyway, so all I'm missing is the benefit from split pulses (think divided housing). So I'm assuming I'll still be getting better spool time using the dual smaller impellers, but not as ideal as if they were independent. At this point though, I'll just be happy to be done with it lol (this is my 3rd turbo setup on this truck).

Also it would be very easy with this plan to separate them in the future since the x-pipe will be readily accessible and connected with v-bands. Would just need a 2nd wastegate and dump and to redo that little 1-2 foot section.

Weirdly my truck got better mpg getting home from Nelson's house than the 4runner did a couple weeks ago

I never really appreciated the additional power the truck has until now that's for sure lol. The clutches between the two are so different I practically had to relearn it so I didn't clutch dump it getting onto the freeway, crazy how much lighter the Marlin clutch is on the t4r

Truck makes so many clunks, squeaks, howls, alignment pull..pretty sure the rear shocks are done, but I sure missed that little red beast. Fun to drive despite it's flaws. Def don't think I can sell it anytime soon.

I have executive dysfunction or ADHD or something. Especially when working on massive projects, so today went alright. Pulled broken oil pump bolts out of block, cleaned FIPG off block/oil pump, and replaced 6 connectors on my electrical harness that had broken.

The connectors were so brittle this was a challenge as the release mechanism for each terminal liked to snap off while still retaining it inside the plug. Had to get creative on a larger transmission plug.

As someone who actually is diagnosed with ADHD, never got the hyperactivity BTW, the best piece of advice I can give is to just start on whatever you're planning. Once you get going it's easier to keep the momentum. Even if you just go out and work on one thing for an hour it's important that you do.

Momentum and motivation are constructed, they're not intrinsic. Gotta manufacture that shit

Exactly why you have to make a conscious effort at moving forward, rolling backward or staying in one place does nothing
