Some good advise by other members. I would add that I leave all the nanny controls on. I will shut off traction control as well if I need wheel spin.
Worst part I encounter in an crowded city is the other drivers. So many inexperienced drivers that are not prepared at all. Not uncommon to see summer or all season tires, windows covered in snow and going ridiculously slow when not necessary due to extreme fear. Lots of hills and bridges add to the mayhem. Our snow is mainly wet but can change quickly. Further inland they tend to have more dry powdery snow.

I run 4 sandbags that weigh 60lbs each in the winter, when I don't have the rack on the truck, and 2 sand bags when I do to get some extra weight in the back. I rarely ever have to switch into 4WD unless it's extra deep, or crazy icy. These trucks do really well, especially the long beds because of the longer wheel base, helps with keeping them going straight down the road in icy conditions. Honestly, I love driving in the snow, it's more fun than driving offroad in the summer.

Good point on the long bed. I’ve noticed that difference from my 2019 SB to now the 2023 LB
