How can I tel if my 03 has the stock leaf springs? Are there any markings on the stock springs? Mine seem pretty weak and flat but I want to make sure the previous owner didnt put some aftermarket springs on there before I decide to pop for new ones.

    Thanks,

    Flash

The stock ones have 3 main leafs plus the overload leaf.

Rub off some dirt and see if you can see "Mexico" on them. If so, stock.

Here is what the stock ones look like. Notice the stock shackle, and the retaining clip around the leafs. These should give you clues when compared to yours.

this shot shows you the stock U bolts and bumpstops, and typical sag after 100k miles.

If they're almost flat then they're stock! LOL

Thanks guys. Sure enough, mine were stock and really weak. I just ordered some replacements from Wheelers. Thanks again for all the replies!
