    Yah, never felt like my boots were ever really in there either. Not sure where the hype originated. The wire lengths are slightly annoying too.

    Thanks, yeah I agree about the steps it really changes the look for the better without them. It's a 96, first year of the 3rd gen. I think this year thru 98 or so did the thin chrome flares

    And as much as I appreciate the added power the supercharger gives the truck, this baby is staying N/A...I don't need that headache on two vehicles haha. Really though I just want to keep the t4r more simplified

    I'm interested in how this works, makes me wonder if it's a good wastegate location. I was asking yesterday because the pipe was so small I couldn't imagine it as a crossover. But it makes sense as a balance pipe, which on a single throttle body/twin turbo system isn't exactly required but can help spool if placed correctly. On twin turbo setups with dual throttle bodies it's a really strong recommendation to avoid having one bank running higher pressures.

    I will be traveling this road very soon. I just purchased a T4R myself. A '98 with a v6 and a 5-speed. I'm sure it'll be tempting to put an SC on it.

    It's actually a pretty okay kit for something that is going to be mostly on road, turbo is sized well and at like 5psi it'll make more power than the SC at 6-7

    Nice, you got that one Ben posted in here awhile back yeah? If it had been local to me I would have scooped it up haha. I found this 5spd 4x4 a few hours away, @Kwikvette linked me up with it near him. Hard to find the manual 3rd gens compared to auto

    Yeah, that's the one. I was only able to be comfortable with it because he was there, inspected it and drove it. Said it was worthy so I went for it.

    Treated it like I was buying it for myself.

    I do like how he had put money into it where it mattered, and allowed us to do all we needed to thoroughly inspect it.

    But he did hide the fact that he didn't do the rear main seal correctly :rofl:

    Don't think he expected me to pull the skid off.

    Washed all the road salt off the 350 and gave it a decent back roads drive :). A little Italian tuneup and some EGTs and the turbo vanes are unstuck again for a while

    They do say to mount the WG at an angle following the exhaust flow, but not had a problem at 90deg before. It'll flow out safely enough that I doubt I'd have boost creep problems. Really my only ? would be exactly how much transfer I'm getting between pipes in a WG closed condition

    I can always weld that middle section all the way up the WG piston, too

    Maybe some art, or a mirror. Cost kinda dictated me not putting the stove there and more cabinets. Couldve easily been another $3k for those cabinets and more quartz.
