Vinyl Floor for 2016+

Should be standard, or at least optional.

I'm not sure why it isn't in all vehicles? It's 2023 I'm sure manufacturers could design a vinyl floor that could accommodate carpted floor mats for people who want carpet. I don't know about anyone else but I always wear something on my feet when driving.

 

Resurrecting a dead thread, anybody figure this out? Any options? Does the 2nd gen vinyl fit? Just got done scrubbing garbage dump slop mud off my transmission tunnel and under my seats. Basically every where the floor mats don't cover.

 

Still nothing for gen3? I drive on the beach a ton and vinyl flooring would he a game changer. I would buy asap. Sand and salt bad for flooring

 

I would kill for a carpet delete kit that looks proper. I never have clean shoes and I'm always in mud, so my carpet is getting thrashed. I just want to be able to wipe my truck out.

 

I've been thinking... There anything that I could like, rub into the carpet and have solidify? Something to give me the same effect as a vinyl floor. Like rubberized flex seal or something? Hopefully something that'll leave a "good" result, not, you know, completely ruin my vehicle.

 

Anyone still fallowing this, me and a friend are working on making a production vinyl floor for the g3 Tacoma’s. This time next year we will hopefully be able to take orders.

If this works out it should be a 1-1 drop in and still retain all sound dampening/insulation the carpet floor had but you can easily wash it.

I hate carpet as well, especially due to horrible allergies. No carpet in my house either.
